The Minister of Justice (法務大臣 Hōmu Daijin<ref>The Japanese name for this ministry literally translates to "Province of Judicial Affairs". The term "province" is the Japanese equivalent of a Cabinet-level Department in western countries, and is not used as a term for subnational entities.</ref>) is the member of the Cabinet of Japan in charge of the Ministry of Justice.
