Modiolus

The modiolus is the central bony pillar of the cochlea, but also the muscle of facial expression found near the risorus muscle, between the lateral edge of the orbicularis oris, and the insertion of the zygomatic major muscle.
The Modiolus can refer to:
- A part of the cochlea [1]
