Mons Venus is a nude lap dancing strip club in Tampa, Florida.<ref>Does nude-club king's cash come dressed like the rest?. Council for American-Islamic Relations. Retrieved on 2006-11-12.</ref>
The club and its owner, Joe Redner, have frequently been engaged in legal battles with the Tampa City Council, which has tried to place restrictions on the industry for 25 years.<ref>Annoucement of film of strip club owner/freedom fighter Joe Redner. Mons Venus and Redner have filed law suits that have reached the Supreme Court and have become case law in many court cases.<ref>Adult club owner wins big in eminent domain case. One of the more notable things about Mons is the up-front pricing - on each side of the club is a sign that reads "Lap Dances $20-$30". Unlike other establishments that try to get their patrons to go to the "champagne room", the most expensive thing at Mons is a $30 lap dance.
Another notable thing about lap dances at this establishment is the customers are allowed to touch the dancer. A lap dance at this establishment and others in Tampa allows a patron to fondle the dancer and generally engage in dry-coitus for a full song. There appears to be only one rule, "no touching the cookie."
The Mons Venus is frequented by many visiting celebrities<ref>Strip Clubs, Tom Cruise and Jason Boog. Internet Media Network Management.
