Mortality are a death metal band from Sydney, Australia. The band's original line-up included guitarist Darren Jenkins who was sacked from the band in 1994 and joined Cryogenic in 1996.
A national tour and supports with the likes of Sepultura along with a string of successful demos raised Mortality's profile Australia-wide.
Mortality were signed to Underground Metal Label Warhead Records and split up six months after the release of their debut album, Structure, due to creative differences between frontman Darren Maloney and the rest of the band.
Maloney then joined Cryogenic as vocalist and the remaining members formed Porn Caddy, a short-lived rap-metal outfit.
However, the band reformed in 2006 played a reunion show at the Empire Hotel in Annandale, New South Wales in August 2006.
