Image:Moldova herb.jpg The House of Bogdan was a ruling family which established the Principality of Moldova with Bogdan I, giving the country its first line of Princes, one closely related with the Basarab rulers of Wallachia. The Bogdanids are also popularly known as Muşatins (the "House of Muşat"), although the term refers to rulers suceeding Costea Muşat, who became Prince after marrying the daughter of Bogdan I.
