Multilaminar veneer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Unlike traditional wood, Multilaminar wood veneer uses plantation wood to reproduce decorative effects which are typical of quality wood species (often protected) and rare. This is extremely important for the preservation of biodiversity and complies with the principles of sustainable management for wood resources. It is obtained processing single slices of veneer reassembling them to reproduce endangered species.
Multilaminar wood is certified by UNI standards. Standard reference: UNI 10396:1994 – ICS Code: 01.040.79179.080
