Mumtaz Begum (1956-) is the mayor of Bangalore, India. She is Bangalore's

• first Muslim mayor,
• fourth woman mayor,
• 43rd^rd mayor and was elected on November 30, 2005.

She is a three-time corporator of the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP). A member of the Indian National Congress party, she was elected as a deputy mayor of Bangalore in 1984, when she contested under the Janata Party platform.
