Naniwa-ku, Osaka

Naniwa (浪速区, -ku) is one of 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. It has an area of 4.37 sq. km., and a population of 51,567.
Although it is conveniently near the downtown Namba shopping area of Osaka, and indeed some of the Namba area is actually in Naniwa, residential rental costs in Naniwa are comparatively low.
