National Amusements, Inc. operates more than 1,500 movie screens in the U.S., U.K., Latin America and Russia under its Showcase Cinemas, Multiplex Cinemas, Cinema de Lux, and KinoStar brands.

Based in Dedham, Massachusetts, the company is owned by media mogul Sumner Redstone (with company president Shari Redstone operating the theater chain) and is the instrument through which he owns controlling shares in Viacom, CBS Corporation, and Midway Games. National Amusements is also an equal partner in online ticketing service MovieTickets.com.
