Image:NationalMuseumOfOrientalArt.JPG The National Museum of Oriental Art (Italian: Museo Nazionale d'Arte Orientale) is a small museum in Rome, Italy, dedicated to the arts of the Orient, from the Middle East to Japan.

In particular, the museum has a rather remarkable collection of artifacts from the Gandhara area. This is due the archaeological missions of the Italian IsMEO to the area of Swat, which focused on the Butkara Stupa and the city of Barikot.

The museum is located 248, via Merulana, and displays artifacts in about 12 rooms. Unfortunately, photographs of the artifacts are not allowed.
