Nationalliga A

Nationalliga A (German), or Ligue Nationale A (French) is the top tier of the Nationalliga or Ligue Nationale, the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland.

The league has 12 teams. The top eight teams during the regular season go to the play-off to determine the championship. The winner of the play-off is called schweizer Eishockeymeister or NLA-Meister in German or Champion Suisse LNA in French.
