A Naval Air Station is an airbase of the United States Navy. Such bases are used to house Naval Aviation squadrons and support commands.

Marine Corps Air Stations fill a similar role for the United States Marine Corps; however Marine aviation units are often assigned to Naval Air Stations as well. A slightly lower level of airbase in the Navy is the Naval Air Facility. An example is NAF Atsugi, Japan.
