Neapolis, Pisidia

Neapolis (in Greek Nεαπoλις) is an ancient town in Pisidia, a few miles south of Antioch.<ref>Ptolemy, Geographia, v. 44; Hierocles, Synecdemus, p. 672</ref> Pliny (v. 42) mentions it as a town of the Roman province of Galatia, which embraced a portion of Pisidia.<ref>Pliny, Naturalis Historia, v. 42</ref> Franz identifies its site with Tutinek, where some ancient remains still exist.
