Neer dosa

Neer dosa is a dish prepared from rice. It is a type of dosa, which is an Indian dish. Neer dosa is a unique dish of the Dakshina Kannada district. Neer means water in Tulu. Neer dosa is prepared by grinding rice soaked in water to make a watery batter. This batter is poured onto a heated griddle (Tawa) in a circular fashion. The dosa is removed from the griddle when the upper surface becomes dry. The dosa is eaten with jaggery mixed with grated coconut, or sometimes chutney.
