Nickelodeon Australia is a counterpart of the Nickelodeon network in the USA. However unlike other Viacom brand stations in Australia (ie; MTV and VH1), Nickelodeon Australia is not owned by Viacom however is owned by XYZnetworks.

Nickelodeon Australia airs shows from the American Nickelodeon but also has a variety of home grown shows:

- 'Sarvo is a show, hosted by James Kerley and Dave Lawson, aired in the afternoons which plays Nicktoons, interviews with celebrity guests as well as funny extras of what the hosts get up to and much more.

- Sn:tv (Saturday Nick) was a morning show and was launched in 2002 with the help of Britney Spears. Ths show was shot in Melbourne and involved games in which the live audience could participate in, celebrity interviews and performances, skits and more.

- During Australia's summer vacation Nickelodeon travels around Australia's beaches setting up fun activities for children.

- Juice is a weekday morning show. It shows nicktoons between 7am - 9am such as spongebob squarepants and jimmy neutron.

- Lunchtoon is a weekly luchtime show that has six episodes of a nickelodeon show. Rugrats all grown up is currently airing from 11.30am - 2.00pm.
