Ninohe District, Iwate

Ninohe (二戸郡; -gun) is a district located in Iwate, Japan.
As of December 1, 2005, the district has an estimated population of 15,821. The total area is 300.11km².
The district has only one town left.

- April 1, 2002-The town of Ashiro was transferred to Iwate District.
- January 1, 2006-The town of Joboji merged with the city of Ninohe to create the new city of Ninohe.
