Nonseminoma
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Together with seminomas, nonseminomas make up the two histological subtypes of testicular germ cell tumour (TGCT). TGCT, again, is the common type of testicular cancer.
Nonseminoma is more aggressive than seminoma, has an earlier mean age of diagnosis (~25 years versus ~35 years), and has a lower 5 year survival rate than seminoma. Nevertheless, nonseminomas remain one of the most treatable cancers.
