The Oklahoma State University System is comprised of six educational institutes across Oklahoma, four being general academic universities and two health institutions. Its flagship institute is the Oklahoma State University - Stillwater. The Oklahoma State University System has a total enrollment of about 30,500 students and is governed by the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical Colleges Board of Regents in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. David J. Schmidly currently serves as CEO of the Oklahoma State University System, in addition to his service as president of OSU-Stillwater.
