Olympia is an ancient city in Greece which was the site of the Ancient Olympic Games. It is also the name of a province south of that city. Olympia, Washington is also the capital of the United States' state of Washington.

Related (though with an alternate spelling) is Olympias, the mother of Alexander the Great.
