Oregon Symphony

The Oregon Symphony is an American orchestra based in Portland, Oregon. Its home venue is the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in downtown Portland's Cultural District.
The orchestra was founded as the Portland Symphony Society in 1896, becoming the first orchestra in the Western United States. In August 1967, the name was changed to the Oregon Symphony.
