The Yellow-tailed Woolly monkey, Oreonax flavicauda, is a New World primate endemic to Peru. It is a rare species found only in the Peruvian Andes, with less than 250 individuals in the wild. It belongs to the Atelidae family. It was once classified in the Lagothrix genus with the rest of the woolly monkeys.
