Panini Comics

Panini Comics is an Italian comic book publisher (a division of Panini Group, which also makes collectible stickers — see Panini (stickers)) that publishes comic books in Italy, Brazil, France, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Hungary and the United Kingdom. Panini publishes manga in several non-English-speaking countries through the Planet Manga imprint.

It took over the Marvel UK license in 1995 and now prints a mix of reprinted and original material, but has also been the company responsible for printing Doctor Who Magazine.

In the UK Panini Comics currently prints several Marvel comics as part of their Collectors' Edition line. These include Astonishing Spider-Man; ; Avengers United; Essential X-Men; Mighty World of Marvel; Fantastic Four Adventures; Wolverine and Deadpool (formerly Wolverine Unleashed and Wolverine and Gambit); and Marvel Legends Also published is Ultimate Spider-Man and X-Men, in a larger format to its US counterparts. For younger readers Spectacular Spider-Man Adventures and Marvel Rampage are published.

Between October 2003 and November 2006 Panini published their one and only DC Colllectors Edition, Batman Legends. The title will be relaunched by Titan Magazines under the same name in December.

Its UK website includes a forum,which has grown as of late in the wake of new members joining after letters by current members had been printed in the comics.
