The television drama Paper Dolls aired for 14 episodes on ABC from September, 1984 to December, 1984. The series was set around a modelling agency and starred Lloyd Bridges, Morgan Fairchild, Mimi Rogers, Nicolette Sheridan, Anne Schedeen, Lauren Hutton, Brenda Vaccaro, Dack Rambo, Terry Farrell, Richard Beymer and Geoffrey Blake. Reruns of the series have been shown on the SOAPnet cable channel.

Prior to the TV series, a pilot TV movie had been screened in 1982 with Joan Collins, Daryl Hannah and Alexandra Paul in the roles that would be taken by Morgan Fairchild, Nicolette Sheridan and Terry Farrell in the series respectively.

Three of the main cast members would be reunited in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Terry Farrell played the role of Jadzia Dax in the series. Richard Beymer would star in the first three episodes of the second series: "The Homecoming", "The Circle" and "The Siege". Geoffrey Blake starred in a later season two episode "Playing God".
