Part time
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Part-time refers to the amount of time and effort spent by someone in employment (or another activity, such as volunteering) compared to a normal full-time job. A part-time job usually pays less than a full-time job, and has fewer working hours per week. Usually workers are afforded no benefits (such as health insurance) other than their wages on part time jobs.
It also refers to students (usually of further education or higher education) who spend few hours studying or in lectures, especially those who spend a minority of the hours in a normal 40-hour (5 days, 9 to 5) week studying.
