Partula

In Roman mythology Partula (also known as Parca) was the goddess of childbirth. She watched over pregnancy and determined its duration <ref>Tertullian, Deuteronomy Carne Christi, chaps. 37, 39. "Partula adjusted every thing relative to the labour".</ref>.
