Peshawar International Airport (IATA: PEWICAO: OPPS) is an airport located in the city of Peshawar in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. Located about a 25 minute drive from the center of Peshawar, it is the 4th busiest airport in Pakistan.

  • On October 23, 1986, a Pakistan International Airlines Fokker F-27 Friendship Mk 600 aircraft crashed during approach to Peshawar International Airport for landing. Fortunately 41 people survived the crash but 13 others, including 4 crew members, died in this accident. The aircraft registration was AP-AUX.
