Phlebology

Phlebology is the study of veins, and diseases of the veins. The field of phlebology is poorly defined, and is developed through a variety of interdisciplinary scientists rather than having a specific set of specialists. Common medical treatments undertaken by phlebologists include treatment of varicose veins with lasers and ultrasound, deep vein thrombosis.
