Plasma torch

A plasma torch (or plasma arc or plasma gun) is a device that generates a directed flow of plasma from its nozzle. The plasma jet can be used for:
- Plasma cutting.
- Plasma spraying.
- Plasma arc waste disposal, which reduces waste to power generating gas and construction rubble.
In science fiction they are sometimes confused with sorts of raygun, or the author thinks that they can be used as rayguns.
