Playa de las Américas is a purpose-built holiday resort in Arona Municipio, in the south of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands. The closest airport is Reina Sofia Airport (also known as Tenerife South Airport), which is roughly 30 minutes away by car.

The most famous part of Playa de las Americas is Veronicas, also known as "The Strip", which holds a large number of bars and nightclubs aimed at young British and German people.
