Plentzia

Image:Gorlizko badia kamaraz.JPG Plentzia is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. The town has 3,949 inhabitants (2005).

Plentzia is located 27 km north east from Bilbao and is part of the Greater Bilbao metropolitan area and the terminus of the first line of the city's underground.

It´s a resort town with a large beach beside the river Butron estuary, in a round shell-shaped bay shared with neighbouring Gorliz.
