Prince Alfred was born, on 22 September 1780, at Windsor Castle, Berkshire. His father was George III, his mother Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The Prince Alfred died, on 20 August 1783, at Windsor Castle, Berkshire, not even three years old.
