Princess Elisabeth to Denmark (born Elisabeth Caroline-Mathilde Alexandrine Helena Olga Thyra Feodora Astrid Margrethe Désirée in Copenhagen 8 May 1935) is daughter of Prince Knud (younger son of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine) and a first cousin of Queen Margrethe II. Because she, unlike her brothers, has not married a commoner, she retains her place in the line of succession and the title, Princess to Denmark (to Denmark is reserved for those members of the Royal Family in line of succession).
