PrivatAir

PrivatAir is an airline based in Geneva, Switzerland, specializing in scheduled and charter flights using mid-sized, long-range, all premium class jets. It operates exclusively business class flights which include transatlantic operations for Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, KLM and corporate shuttles for Airbus. It has main bases at Paris Le Bourget Airport (LBG), Bradley International Airport (BDL), Geneva Cointrin International Airport (GVA), Hamburg Airport (HAM), Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) and Munich International Airport (MUC).

The airline was established and began operations in 1977. It received its Swiss air operators certificate in June 1995. In August 2000, PrivatAir acquired Flight Services Group in the USA. PrivatAir Group was formed. In May 2003 PrivatAir and Swissport created the joint company PrivatPort dealing in an executive jet handling business, initially in Geneva. PrivatPort holds a 49% holding in PrivatAir.
