Propylene oxide

Propylene oxide is a highly toxic flammable chemical compound. Its major industrial use is as the monomer used in the production of polypropylene oxide (polypropylene glycol). It was once used as a racing fuel, but that usage is now prohibited under the US NHRA rules for safety reasons. It is also used in thermobaric weapons.

It is an epoxide, with the following structure.
