Pseudopimelodidae is a small family of catfishes with 27 described species in five genera. These wide-mouthed catfishes, often with bold markings, are commonly known as bumblebee catfishes or dwarf marbled catfishes and are restricted to South America. The largest specimens reach 40 cm in length but most are much smaller.
