Röcken

Röcken is a municipality in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche was born there in 1844, and the house where he was born still exists.
Röcken was also the inspiration for the name of a Canadian rock band from Hamilton, Ontario known as Röcken Prussia. The band was formed in 2004, and their songs include such hits as The Wood, Aurora Borealis, Bag Solutions, and Ceiling Tiles. Röcken Prussia is Matt Wolfson, Duncan Links, Evan DeRushie, and Ben Caplan.
