Raimbaut of Orange

Raimbaut of Orange (c.11471173), or in Occitan Raimbaut d'Aurenga, was the lord of Orange and Omelas and a major troubadour, having contributed to the creation of trobar clus, or cryptic style, in troubadour poetry. About forty of his works survive, displaying a gusto for rare rhymes and intricate poetic form.
