Image:RichardHaigh.jpg Richard Haigh is the head teacher of Coombeshead College, Newton Abbot, Devon, England.
He is best known for allowing an item of clothing, known as the 'hoodie', to be adopted as part of the official school uniform at Coombeshead College. In a tongue-in-cheek letter to The Times, he suggested that hoodies would become "uncool" if every school adopted Coombeshead's policy.
