Rivesaltes (French: Rivesaltes, Catalan: Ribesaltes) is a commune of the Pyrénées-Orientales département in southwestern France.
Rivesaltes was the birthplace of Joseph Joffre (1852-1931), general who became prominent in the battles of World War I.
