Robert Walser (musicologist)

Robert Walser is a musicologist associated with the "new musicology". He is author of Running With the Devil: Power, Gender, and Madness in Heavy Metal Music, ISBN 0-8195-6260-2. Robert Walser currently is a member of the faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is married to musicologist Susan McClary.
