Romeo may refer to:
- the main male character in Romeo and Juliet hence a boyfriend, or a term for a man who goes after a great deal of women. The Italian name comes from Greek Rhomaios, literally "Roman", but actually meaning "from the Eastern Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire". Rumi is an Arabic cognate. In Italian, it means "A person who has been to Rome".
