Ron Liepert

Ron Liepert is a politician and broadcaster from Alberta, Canada.


Ron Liepert attended and graduated from the Columbia School of Broadcasting in 1971. He would work as a TV Reporter from 1972 to 1980 before getting into private business.

Ron was elected to his first term in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Calgary during the 2004 provincial election. He represents the Progressive Conservatives and sits as a back-bencher.

Ron has served the Progressive Conservatives for many years. From 1972 to 1980, he worked as the press secretary for Premier Peter Lougheed.
