Ron Welty

Ron Welty (February 1, 1971) was the drummer for the American punk rock band The Offspring from 1987 (though Dexter Holland said in an interview that it was 1986) through 2003. However, he left to form his current band called "Steady Ground", in which he plays drums and co-produces. His departure was annoucned on March 18, 2003 on The Offspring's official website. Ron plays a TAMA Starclassic Drumkit with Zildjian Cymbals.
On February 26, 2006, Steady Ground released 3 demos on its myspace address, entitled "Everyone's Emotional", "I Can't Contain Myself", and "You Better Close Your Eyes."
