The Sacem, or "la Sacem", is a French professional association collecting payments of artists’ rights and distribute the rights to the original authors, composers and publishers. Sacem is a French acronym for Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique, that is, "Society of music authors, composers and publishers".
