Sa'idi

A sa'idi is a person from Upper Egypt, or a form of music originating from there. The basic Sa'idi rhythm is a 4/8, D T - T D - T The 'D' being a base note and the 'T' being a rim or trebble note on a doumbek drum.
Mostly the Da'idi rhythm is played 4/8, D T - D D - T or DD - DD - T or - T - D D - T
