  • Servomechanism, usually just shortened to "servo", is a special (typically electric) motor that typically includes a velocity and/or position feedback device to effect mechanical motion for a specified distance. Can also refer to any type of self-regulating feedback system or mechanism.
  • RC Servo, a type of servomechanism used in radio controlled models and robotics.
  • Servo amplifier, an amplifier that powers a servo actuator, sometimes called a servo drive when referring to electric servo motor type servomechanisms.
  • Servo drive, a servo amplifier that powers an electric servo motor.
