Shingu, Wakayama

Shingū (新宮市; -shi) is a city located in Wakayama, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 32,465 and the density of 407.54 persons per km². The total area is 79.66 km².
The city was founded on October 1, 1933.
It is the sister city to Santa Cruz, California.
