Silver Fox is a fictional character, a mutant in the Marvel Comics universe.
[edit] Character history
Silver Fox was a lover of Wolverine who first appeared in Wolverine (volume 2) #10, where she was apparently killed by Sabretooth. However, her death was later revealed to be an induced memory of Wolverine's. In actuality, she was a member of "Team X", the best covert ops team NATO had to offer, and was one of a few female victims of the Weapon X project. Fox betrayed Team X and became a member of Hydra, a subversive terrorist organization. She was later, finally, killed by Sabretooth under the control of the telepathic Psi-Borg, and Wolverine buried her body outside the cabin they once lived in together.
[edit] Powers and abilities
The mutant powers of Silver Fox are unknown (and never revealed), but Silver Fox has an artificial healing factor given to her by Weapon X. This healing factor also retards her aging, so her true age is unknown. She is also an expert marksman and is skilled at using many forms of weapons. It is believed that she posses plant/animal telepathy and her senses are enhanced along with her vitality, endurance, agility, stamina, & also had the gift to sense the presence of mutants and humans, decipher the power of a mutant by contact of any of her senses and determine the status of anything or one she encountered.
[edit] Other appearances
Silver Fox appeared in the X-Men Animated Series one episode Weapon X, Lies and Videotape. In this continuity she too was a member of Team X, Wolverine's lover and a victim of the Weapon X Program.
