Smart shop
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Smart shops are shops that sell psychoactive substances and related drug paraphernalia. Common products are magic mushrooms, Salvia divinorum, bongs, and Peyote. Smart shops can be found primarily in The Netherlands, but also in other countries. Though "magic mushrooms" are illegal drugs in most countries, until 2001 Dutch law tolerated the sale of fresh, unprepared mushrooms (like any other produce), which made it possible to sell them for recreational use.
A smart shop is distinguished from head shops found in many countries in that the latter only provide paraphernalia whereas the former also sell actual drugs, albeit to a very limited extent.de:Smartshop fr:Smartshop nl:Smartshop no:Smart shop
