Sounder (radio)

In radio broadcasting, a sounder or stinger is any kind of audio inserted as an interstitial, in order to identify a radio station or a channel, or to promote such a service. Sounders often include short voiceovers, sound effects, and music clips (most notably, vocal jingles).
